Xativa's castles will please you for several reasons. You will be captivated by its location. It stands on a mountain's edge, surrounded by fields overlooking a town and the Mediterranean Sea.
The castle's architecture is stunning. There are actually two castles. Touring both castles will explain the history of this ancient place. Built over 2,500 years ago, this settlement survived under the rule of the Iberians, Romans, Moors and Christians.
Your English speaking guide will accompany you from Valencia to Xativa (about an hour drive). Upon arrival you will visit the castles. You'll end the tour with a beverage (coffee, tea, beer, wine, soft drink or water) on the castle's terrace with its incredible views.
